Join other bloggers today in a conversation to end poverty. We have been blessed to have never lived in poverty. There have been times in my life, when we have struggled to make ends meet, but there was always a roof over our heads, clothes on our back, and food in our bellies. So many are not so fortunate.
Things you can do to help:
Clean out your closets and donate the clothing you no longer need.
Volunteer your time at a soup kitchen or homeless shelter.
Patricipate in food drives.
Donate the money you save on your own groceries by using coupons and hitting sales.
Teach your children about those less fortunate. Instill in them compassion.
Tell your state and local representatives what you want them to do to end poverty.
