Birthday Recap

Krista and I took the kiddos to Entertrainment Junction for Teag's birthday. If you're near Cincinnati, OH and you have kids, or you really like model trains, you should check it out. They have a huge, walk through display of trains, trains, and more trains. I didn't really get any good pics because 1. they are moving trains, and 2. they are behind glass.

They had alot of interactive displays too. The kids liked being able to control some of the trains and sounds.

There is a play area with Thomas the train tables,

a kid size play train with a coal bin and bell they can pull,
and a jungle gym.
Tess just hung out in the Ergo.
The infamous ant cake

I tried and tried to talk Teagan into a monkey cake or dog cake or anything besides ants, but he insisted he wanted ants on his cake. He likes ants because "I can smash them with my shoes".

Not too shabby, I think. The ants are Raisinettes, in case you're curious, and the "ant hill" is crushed Oreos.

Teagan was pretty excited about his new truck, and REAL MONEY!
All in all, we had a fun day. I don't think Teagan will ever forget the trains. Unfortunately, that means he has requested to go back to see the trains at least 100 times in the last two days.

Four years ago.....

......today, this little person came into the world. You can read more about it here. It really was quite funny. Or at least, it is now.

He was a mellow little red haired boy.

And then he grew

Into a blond, Dora loving,

blue eyed cutie.

Sometimes, he's a shy guy.
(Would you believe that big kid behind him came home from the hospital in that carseat?)

He's friendly

playful

all around adorable.

He likes to live dangerously.

But still snuggles in for a cuddle.

And I so wish I could keep him from turning four. I'm not ready for him to not be my baby boy. I couldn't stop his brothers from growing. Can't I keep this one?

Happy birthday, Teag!
Mommy's baby boy.
We love you bunches.

I feel dizzy

And you will too after you watch what Teagan does when he sneaks off with the camera.

High chair adventures

Hmm, what's this?
Is it a bean?

I think I've got it.
I did get it!
I like green beans!
Do you like green beans?
I like to suck green beans.
What? You don't suck green beans?
Where'd my bean go?
Oh dear, I think I've lost it.

Bouncin girl

Just a quick hello

I haven't uploaded my camera so you'll have to settle for some gratuitous sleeping boy pics.

I've been working the last three nights, and am headed off to work tonight for some extra moola in the form of over time. Of course, I must be crazy because we have been swamped lately!! Who knew there were so many pregnant women in town.

Anyway, I'm down another 2 pounds. But considering the mac and cheese I just ate and the carry in a few nights ago at work, I'm not expecting anything spectacular for next week.

Still working on my stats final. If my patients didn't call out so much, I could get it done. :op

Weekend update!

First off, LOST 3 POUNDS this week! Yep, that's right. So, now I'm at one eight six. Secondly, in case you missed the last post, I am DONE with my leadership class. Just need to finish my stats final, which I hope to do tomorrow, and I will be done with school! Well, for a few weeks anyway. The next quarter starts April 6. And thirdly, who doesn't want to look at pics of cute girls?

You know you all just come here for pics of the kids so, here you go.

Seven

Baby Tess is seven months old now. She is a happy, boisterous girl. Her favorite phrase is "Dadadada Ahhhhhhh Phttt". Not sure if that is a happy phrase, or she's just practicing for her teen years. She likes to squeal and screech too. And don't let her get mad at you because she'll yell, not cry, yell. Yeah, she cries, but when she's mad, she lets out these one syllable screeches, which I'm sure is cussing in baby talk.
She manages to get around without actually crawling. She scoots and rolls and spins. She will sit for several minutes until she tries to grab her feet. She has a definite foot fetish and will try to pull her socks off, to chew on them, of course. She has started pushing off with her feet and lifting her butt in the air like Travis did when he was a baby. I'm sure crawling isn't too far off. Although she can feel free to wait a bit longer since everything she finds goes in her mouth, especially if it's crinkly and crumply, like paper.

And contrary to these recent pics, she doesn't always have a pacifier in her mouth. She likes to pop it out from between her gums then chew on the sides.

Teagan took the rest of these pictures. In case you couldn't tell.
