Adorability

I think I made up a word.
Adorability: the ability to make oneself adored.

This one is pretty good at it.

These ones had it for a little bit

Now, not so much. They're kind of ugly and they stink.

A visit from Grandpa

My Dad came to town for my little brother's wedding.
He lives way out in Wyoming, so we don't get to see him too much.
Yes, that is dirt on Tess's mouth. It is her third most favorite thing to eat.
It sucks that they live so far away. The kids really enjoyed spending time with Grandpa, and they had a blast with Aunt Lauren and Uncle Ryan when we went drove out there a few years ago.
2000 miles is pretty darn far though. Especially driving it, with 5 kids.
Hopefully someday soon we'll get to take another trip out west.
(Hmm, new travel trailer.......)
Teagan loves to climb the fence and annoy the neighbor's dogs.
Or is it that he loves to annoy me because their incessant barking drives me nuts?
Monkey see, monkey do.
Tess can't quite climb up the fence, so she had to settle for a peep hole.
We said goodbye to Grandpa last Thursday. His visit was way too short.

Play ball

Baseball season has begun!
Both Teagan and Travis are playing this year.
This is Teagan's first year in tee-ball, but Trav has been playing for about 5 years now.
He's pretty darn good, if I do say so.
And my boy is pitching!

He loves baseball and I love to watch him play.
Teagan is still in the kick the dirt and spin in circles stage.
(My baby is #6. Aren't they teeny?)
He seemed to have fun out there.
And my boy can swing!
Even though the bat's almost as big as he is.
While it may look like these boys were trying to tag Teagan out
Really they were just fighting over the ball. Notice he made it home safely
while these two were still deciding who's ball it was.
The girls weren't too interested in the game. Go figure.
My baby boy is growing up. :o(

The rehearsal

My little brother got married yesterday. The rehearsal was Friday night.
The bride and the father of the bride stand in (AKA the wedding coordinator)
The practice run
This is how the little people entertained themselves
The rehearsal dinner was at Marion's pizza
(Thanks for that, Krista. I'm sure it helped my diet)
Teag was hitting on the flowergirl
Teag and Aunt Krista
Tess was fascinated by this little person
Just hangin out
Tess and Aunt Kristy (soon to be official)
Travis and Braeden saying bye bye for the evening

The wedding

While we waited
Little cousins
The moms lighting the unity candle
The groom and best man
I have to admit I got a little teary seeing my little brother waiting to meet his bride, so I missed the bride coming down the aisle. Lucky for them, they had a real wedding photographer.
Braeden AKA the ring bearer got a little bored
The I do's
And the kiss
And the new Mr and Mrs Travis G
