Easter

So Easter came and went and my Internet sucked so it's taken forever to upload pics.
It was a busy weekend with a visit from Aunt Krista and Mia.
There was egg painting, a visit to the Easter Bunny, and of course, an egg hunt.

And they're off.
The big kids were way too fast to snap pics.

We did attempt to get a pic of the cousins before Aunt Krista and Mia headed home,
but as you can see, getting six kids to cooperate all at the same time is almost impossible.

Ringing in the New Year

Waiting for the ball to drop

Not everyone had the stamina to make it

A toast to 2013!

A Warm Fall Day

After hanging out for awhile on the swingset

we took advantage of the warm day to walk outside and visit the farm animals

Of course, no walk is complete without a swing

but 2 yr olds don't always like to take turns.
Which may result in some hair pulling, followed by I'm sorry hugs.

After visiting the chickens, there was some more walking
to go visit the cows.
And this guy, who used to hang out in our front yard.
The cows weren't sure what to think
And neither was Mia when that big one there mooed at her.
Of course, it was still Thanksgiving.
So we had to say good bye to the cows and head back inside for pie!

A Thanksgiving visit

So Thanksgiving was this past week, and we got to spend it with Aunt Krista and Mia.
There was a theme to this holiday.
It was called don't look at the camera and stuff your face.
Which we all did willingly.
Luckily, it was gorgeous day to burn off some calories.
So we headed outside to play.
More pics to come.....

Happy New Year! (Again)

Welcome to the Year of the Dragon!

Heading out for our Chinese New Year's dinner

It takes a few tries with this group to get everyone to look at the camera.

The girls are wearing their authentic Chinese silk dresses purchased in Nanchang.

Mia ate her weight in noodles

While Tess went for 3 bowls of rice.

After completely stuffing ourselves full of Chinese food, we headed home to start our new New Year's diets.
