4 months
Baby Tess is 4 months old. She is quite entertaining with her big fat grins, baby squeals, and bubble blowing. Note the slobber on her shirt. Yep, my girl is a drooler. She also likes to hear herself blow raspberries, which doesn't help the dryness factor.
She loves to kick her feet.

Now she smiles and coos and gurgles and laughs, at everybody.
My tiny girl is 11 pounds 11 ounces. Not quite a pound per month since her last check up. Supposedly, babies should double their birth weight by 6 months. That means, she's got some growing to do. She's up to 24 inches tall, which is still too short for some of her sleepers.

We're still working on belly rolls. She's not too keen on tummy time and usually gets ticked off before she's even tried to roll over. She did manage to roll off the couch though. I think she'd rather skip the rolling and go straight to sitting up. She's getting quite adept at stomach crunches when she is propped up.

And unfortunately, she seems to be losing interest in her thumb. Which kind of sucks, because she's not all that into her pacifier either. Needless to say, she's been staying up late with Mommy since Mommy can't stand to hear her cry in her crib. If this is my last chance to snuggle one of my babes, I'm going to milk it for all it's worth.
