A Midwesterner and a Texan settling into life in the mountains of East Tennessee with a whole passel of kids. And the chaos that ensues....
Congratulations!! Sorry it's coming so late. Tess is absolutely gorgeous, love her hair! I can't believe she's a month old already. Sammy is 11 days now and it goes soooo fast. : (
Oops, just saw she wasn't a month, just 2 weeks. Sorry. I blame it on lack of sleep!
Tess is absolutely gorgeous! I can't believe all her hair...still more than Laila! To me Tess doesn't look like your other kids (that look exactly like their dad!), she looks like you and your mom (which the older you get, the more you look like her. I love that you put so many pictures on your blog. Congrats on Baby Tess. Hope to see you all on the 13th.
Awwww..... what a little angel :)Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!rue
In answer to Lisa B's comment. I'm sure Carla did not want to hear how much she looks like her mother because the older I get the more I look like MY mother...but if you have seen any of Krista's newborn pictures Tess looks just like her!!! I was amazed when I saw her pictures. Your grandmother should have pictures from when Krista was a baby. Check with her.
To further respond to the "you look like your mother" comments...Learn to live with it, Carla. I have. I have a young cousin on Dad's side who swore I was Aunt Edie when she saw me. She even sat down next to me about 2 hours later and said "Well, you still look like Aunt Edie to me!" Little brat! It's hard sometimes to escape our genes, but given the choice, would we really want to?
